Janet Sylvia

Janet Sylvia

WAG Coordinator and Accessibility Specialist

Janet Sylvia is the Web Accessibility Group (WAG) Leader at AMAC. In this role, she provides web accessibility consultation and training for higher education personnel in the University System of Georgia (USG) and throughout the United States. This work is accomplished through member consultation, a teaching listserv, website and WAG Monthly Meetings. Janet’s areas of expertise include Accessibility in Higher Education, Accessible Online Courses, Section 508 and the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG). She also provides web accessibility training for AMAC members.
