Valorie Sundby

Valorie Sundby

Valorie Sundby graduated from the University of Arizona with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a major in Management Information Systems. She has specialized in Web Accessibility Compliance since 2009. Valorie has performed Web Accessibility Compliance audits in areas including Financial, Travel, Retail and Higher Education. She has worked with large companies to develop Web Accessibility Policies and conformance plans, developed onboarding accessibility training and worked to integrate accessibility into Agile processes. Valorie’s experience in Higher Education has included an active role on the Accessibility Task Force for the Colorado Community College System (CCCS) and assisting colleges within the CCCS with Accessibility Plan development and execution. She also worked as a Disability Services Specialist in assisting students with Assistive Technology and producing course content in alternate format including Braille and tactile graphics and with the eLearning Department at Arapahoe Community College works to train instructors on the development of accessible course content. Valorie’s certifications include PCWA from the University of South Australia and her CPACC from the International Association of Accessibility Professionals (IAAP). She is an active member of IAAP and serves on the Certification Committee. Valorie has been a presenter at Accessing Higher Ground and has published articles on accessibility topics.
