Linda Gilbert

Linda Gilbert

Accessibility Specialist

As an Accessibility Specialist with AMAC, Dr. Linda Gilbert provides training in web accessibility for higher education personnel in the University System of Georgia (USG) and beyond. In that role, she researches and disseminates current 508 standards and best practices. She holds a Ph.D. in Instructional Technology; her background includes teaching college courses, a certificate in project management from the Georgia Technical Authority, and formal training in facilitation. At her prior institution, Dr. Gilbert led the formation of a 508 committee and coordinated and documented its work. She also led the Data Governance Task Force, a cross-departmental working group that collected, managed, and reported data to the institution.
